01 / THE PLATFORM

Simplified Gas‑Cooled
Nuclear Reactors

SMAR Technologies USA has launched the Simplified Gas‑Cooled Reactor (SGR) — a 4th‑generation nuclear platform that is gas‑cooled, modular in design and inherently safe.

Built on proven HTR‑10 pebble‑bed heritage, the SGR is the latest Generation IV technology approved by a nuclear authority since Fukushima. Physics — not pumps — keeps the core safe: passive, gravity‑driven cooling shuts the reaction down naturally, with no operator action required.

  • TYPEIntegrated pressurized / high‑temp gas‑cooled
  • FUELTRISO ceramic pebbles · LEU · melt‑proof to 1,600°C
  • COOLINGPassive, natural circulation — no mechanical pumping
  • SAFETYWalk‑away safe · no large exclusion zone
  • BUILDFactory mass‑production · standardized quality

FIG.01 — THE FUTURE IS MODULAR

The Future is Modular — 300 million watts, zero emissions, infinite scalability: cost, security and performance advantages, one SMR module powering a city, the closed fuel loop, and the physics upgrade from legacy plants to compact mass-produced reactors

02 / WHY SMR

The Advantages of
Small Modular Reactors

Efficiency & Mass Production

SMRs are the future of nuclear energy — a compact, highly efficient alternative to traditional reactors. Each miniature power plant produces up to 300 million watts of electricity, and their reduced size means they can be mass‑produced directly in factories, streamlining deployment worldwide.

Enhanced Safety & Longevity

Designed around advanced safety features and natural cooling methods. By incorporating advanced fuels and closed fuel cycles, SMR designs minimize waste and extend operational life — sustainability engineered into the core.

Mobility & Flexible Deployment

Compact enough to be transported anywhere — a highly adaptable answer to growing global energy demand. Where large static plants take a decade, SMRs arrive by truck, connect, and power on.
